Virginia M. Autenrieth, 80, of Fulton, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Fulton Manor Care Center. She was born December 28, 1933, in Jefferson City, the daughter of the late Charles and Zella (Jarrett) Hurley. On May 12, 1951, she married Robert L. Autenrieth of Fulton and the couple remained inseparable for 62 years. Virginia was a woman of faith, an active member of the Carrington Baptist Church, a Sunday School secretary, and performed various other duties for the church. She loved to sing gospel music. If there was anything with an owl on it, she added that to her collection. Those that came to know her loved her, for Virginia loved everyone she met. She was especially devoted to her husband and her family. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Robert; one son, Phil Autenrieth (Debbie) of Fulton; one daughter, Norma Braswell (Ken) of Four Oaks N.C.; three grandchildren, Melissa Autenrieth of Fulton, Trevor Laurie of England, and Tracy Boykin (William) of Godwin, N.C.; one great-grandson, Brennan Laurie; and one sister, Bettie Roberts of Memphis, Tenn. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, February 19 at the Carrington Baptist Church in Carrington with Rev. Jack Coleman officiating. Burial will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m, at the Debo Funeral Home in Fulton.
