Eva Pearl Wilkerson

Eva Pearl Wilkerson, 80, of Auxvasse, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013, at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico. She was born November 12, 1932, in Arkansas, the daughter of the late Orman and Nora (Hodge) Lusk. Eva was united in marriage to Norman Wilkerson on July 19, 1949. He survives at their home. Blessed with a green thumb, Eva enjoyed gardening. Time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her the most joy. She will be fondly remembered by her husband of 64 years, Norman; son, Glenn (Karen) Wilkerson of Wentzville; son-in-law, Bobby Rodgers of Wentzville; brother, Oliver Lusk of Enid, Miss.; sister, Wilma Haynes of Lambert, Miss.; grandchildren, Jennifer (Alex) Axsom, Jill (Wes) Gentemann, Bryan (Michelle) Rodgers, Kim (Frank) Piel, Shannon (Jason) Gierer; and great-grandchildren, Marshall, Marin, Mackenzie, Noah, Tyler, Braedyn, Jordyn, Kaleb, Caitlyn, Logan, Michael, Jacob, and Jascinda. Eva was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Glenda Wilkerson-Rodgers; and brother, Harold Lusk. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, at Maupin Funeral Home with Eva's nephew, Kevin Wilkerson, officiating. Interment will follow at Auxvasse Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until the time of service on September 21, 2013 at Maupin Funeral Home.
