Joseph Atterberry

Joseph "Lynn" Atterberry, 60, of Fulton, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013, at his home. He was born January 18, 1953, in Callaway County, the son of the late James R. Atterberry and the late Anna (Bucholz) Atterberry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching deer, and time spent with his family. He loved deer roast and was always trying to figure out where the next one could be found. He also loved his home-made chicken noodle soup. He is survived by his children, Michael Atterberry (Ann) of Fulton, Joseph Atterberry of Fulton, and Angela Clark of Russelville; brothers, James Atterberry (Anita) of Windsor, Bill Atterberry (Wanda) of Fulton, and John Atterberry (Peggy) of Fulton; sisters, Karen Lathrop (Michael) of Williamsburg, Mary Belisle (Scott) of Fulton, and Debi Valdez (Tim) of Calwood; grandchildren, Jacob, Blake, Tristin, Billy, Ripley, Mikey, Chelsi, Jillian, Joe Jr., Dylan, and Sophia; great-grandchildren, Cassi, Aubree, Ricky, Lillian, Rhyan, Kyla, Raylyn, and Justin Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, David, Leon, and Larry Atterberry; and sister, Lillian Scoggins. It was Lynn's wishes to be cremated.
