Lana Charlene Holmes

Lana Charlene Holmes, 66, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2013, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born to Kenneth and Billie Kannard on November 5, 1947, in Caney, Kansas. She made Fulton her permanent home in 1980, and retired from the Callaway Nuclear Plant in 2006. She is survived by her children, Valorie Buckholz and son-in-law, Kenneth Buckholz, Don Holmes and wife, Lisa; six grandchildren; Caleb Bowen and wife, Janie; Amanda Holmes; Emily Bush; Courtney Holmes; Seth Bush; and Kenneth Holmes. Her first great-grandchild, Bailey Grace Bowen, is due March 7, 2014. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Victory Fellowship Church, 6850 State Rd. NN, Fulton, Mo., 65251 at 11 a.m. The family requests that all memorial contributions be made to Victory Fellowship, in loving memory of their sister in Christ, Lana Charlene Holmes.
