David "Ike" Wayne Isaacson, 58, of Auxvasse, passed away Monday, May 6, 2013, at his home. He was born August 27, 1954, in Callao, the son of the late Vern Dale Isaacson and the late Ruth (Shoemaker) Isaacson. Ike loved spending time with his girls and Nancy and enjoyed the Sunday drives that he and Nancy would take. Another activity Ike was proud of was befriending teenage kids and having them help around the farm to teach them responsibility and good work ethic all while having fun. In addition to his wife, Ike will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Sheila Eckert and husband Darren of Auxvasse, and Heather Nicholls and husband Brett of Montgomery City; four grandchildren, Patri and Ellie Eckert, and Areon and Autom Nicholls; four brothers; and one sister.
