Genevieve M Crump

Genevieve M. Crump, 84, of New Bloomfield, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at Riverview Nursing Center in Mokane. She was born November 10, 1928, in Hermann, a daughter of Albert and Philomena (Schneider) Klott. In April 1953, she was united in marriage to Elbert Ross Crump, who survives at their home. Genevieve worked at the shoe factory in Fulton for 46 years until her retirement in 1990. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing and traveling around the country with her family. Following retirement, Genevieve enjoyed auto racing, playing cards, watching St. Louis Cardinals games and not being at the shoe factory. Other survivors include her two sons: Mike Crump and girlfriend Karen Bolden of New Bloomfield, Mark Crump and wife Julia of New Bloomfield; two grandsons: Joseph Crump and wife Natalie, Jeffrey Crump and wife Jennifer; and one great- granddaughter, Delia Crump. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at the Slater-Millard Family Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Callaway Memorial Gardens, Fulton.
