Rick Kemp

Rick L. Kemp, 53, of Carrollton, Ga., passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2013. He was born January 20, 1960, in Fulton, the son of Carolyn (Gifford) Kemp and the late David L. Kemp. Rick was united in marriage to Carol A. (Wilson) Kemp, who survives his passing at the home. Rick worked at Superior International Industries for 17 years as a purchasing agent and accounts receivable manager. In addition to his wife and mother, Rick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Shawn Kemp of Carrollton, Ga.; one daughter, Kristi Kemp of Carrollton, Ga.; one grandson, Noah L. Kemp; one brother, Tracy A. Kemp of Oak Grove; and one sister, Kathy K. O'Haver of Columbia. In addition to his father, Rick was preceded in death by one brother, Mitchell Wayne Kemp. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Charles Holden officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service also at Maupin Funeral Home. A private family interment ceremony will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens following the service.
