Lynda Ann Logan

Lynda Ann Logan, 71, of Fulton, was called home to her Lord on Thursday, July 25, 2013. She was born January 8, 1942, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Milton Rolland and Linda Jeanette (Rolland) Brown. Following graduation from Fulton High School in 1960, Lynda had a number of occupations, a few being Activity Director at Presbyterian Manor, in the X-Ray Department of Callaway Community Hospital and in catering at Westminster College. She was a fierce homemaker, an avid bowler and enjoyed traveling. She saw much of the Continental United States, along with Canada, Mexico and a number of countries in Europe. Lynda was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended Second Christian Church. More than anything, Lynda wanted the world to know how much she loved her family. She will live forever in the memory of her children, Lynette Henderson of St. Louis, Gayle Logan of St. Louis, Russell E. Logan Jr. of Atlanta, and Michael R. Logan Sr. and his wife Nawassa of Columbia; brothers, Milton Rolland of Chicago, and Byron Bagby and his wife Monique of Alexandria, Va., and sisters, Careda Taylor of Chicago and Laurice Moore of Bowling Green, Ohio.; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; her devoted friends, Mary Scott, Juanita Logan, and the late Phyllis Churchill; eight nieces and nephews; three great-nieces; and a host of cousins and other family members. Memorial services will be held at noon on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at Second Christian Church of Fulton, with Reverend Cedric Harris officiating. Inurnment will follow at Southside Cemetery. Repast will follow at the John C. Harris Community Center. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made in honor of Lynda Ann Logan to the Gateway for Cancer Research, c/o Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, MO 65251.
