Charles Arthur Beals, 64, of Cerrillos, N.M., passed away Sat., Nov. 24, 2012, at home. He was born Oct. 18, 1948, in Washington DC, the son of Myrofora Jatho and the late Charles Beals and was baptized Feb. 27, 1949, at The Church of the Epiphany in Washington DC. Chuck graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High School, in Dade College in Miami, Flo. His interest was film making. He was a contractor and a rancher. He loved his family especially his nieces and nephew. He loved the ranch life in the high desert country and his faithful dog Blackie. He was a strong, honest, caring man, always humble and grateful and devoted to his family. He was a good samaritan. Growing up, he accompanied his mother and brothers to the summer camp where she was a camp nurse. He attended Unity Church faithfully with his fiance, Marlene Kamei, located in the suburbs of Santa Fe, N.M. She is a retired professor of history from Hawaii, and taught in the Santa Fe elementary public school system later. They had season passes to the Santa Fe opera house and he worked as an extra in movie films located in New Mexico. He was an avid reader of history and science-fiction. He will be sadly missed by: his loving mother, Myrofora Jatho; his three brothers, Albert Henry Jatho of Sanford, Flo., James Glenn Jatho of Los Angeles, Calif., and David Constantine Jatho of Fulton; his fince, Marlene Ann Kamei of Cerrillos, N.M.; and his nieces and nephew, Margiolio Jatho, Myrofora Jatho, Glenn Jatho, and Anna Jatho. The memorial service has already taken place at the First Presbyterian Church, Fulton, and a burial service will be held at a later date at the White Cloud Presyterian Church Cemetary, Fulton. Donations in his memory can be made to the Glenn Jatho Educational Fund c/o First Presbyterian Church, Fulton.
