Mary Elizabeth Wine, 59, of Clarksville, Tenn., formerly of Fulton, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. She was born April 8, 1953, in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Charles J. and Daisy V. (Gowin) Perry. Mary was united in marriage to William Wine on September 5, 1981, in Fulton. He survives at their home. Born with a caring and nurturing heart and the patience of a saint, Mary made her career in nursing, working at many hospitals including Callaway Hospital and Fulton State Hospital. She was a military spouse for 28 years. Mary was a wonderful mother and dear friend to her children. She found great pleasure in spending time with her granddaughters. In her spare time, Mary enjoyed crocheting, gardening and canning. Those left to cherish Mary's memory include her husband of 31 years, William; her mother, Daisy Perry of Fulton; son, Chuck Johnson of Fulton; daughter, Kimberly Johnson of Woodlawn; brother, Sonny Gilmore of Fulton; sister, Judy Bullard of Fulton; and granddaughters, Kayla, Karly, and Khloe. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Karen Blackburn. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at the funeral home.
