Dorothy Tesson

Dorothy Tesson, 72, of Steedman, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Salem, the daughter of the late Walter Brock and the late Kathrine (Branch) Brock. On June 8, 1968, Dorothy was united in marriage to Ronald Joseph Tesson, who survives her passing at the home. Dorothy was an avid card player and involved in many community organizations including The Kingdom Bells Red Hat Society, the Callaway Community Hospital, and the Fulton Senior Center. In addition to her husband, Dorothy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Scott Meeker of St. Louis; one grandchild, Melissa Thomas and husband Craig of St. Charles; and two great-grandchildren, Charles Scott Thomas and Mackenzie Lynn Thomas. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Kay Watson. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 4, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Father Frank Bussmann officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Friday at Maupin Funeral Home.
