Dwane K. Rose, 76, of Mokane passed away at Jefferson City Nursing and Rehab Center on Wednesday February 13, 2013. He was born July 15, 1936 in Langdon, Mo., the son of the late Champ C. Rose and the late Marjorie E. (Northern) Rose. On July 15, 1960, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Albertson) Rose, who survives his passing at the home. Before his failing health, Dwane loved quail hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, barbecuing, and spending time with loved ones and friends. He also enjoyed the company of his faithful dog and companion, Buddy. Dwane will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, sister, sons-in-law, loving relatives, and a host of friends. In addition to his wife, Dwane is survived by one daughter, Pamela A. (Rose) Potts and husband, Clifford, of Mokane; one son, Jeffery C. Rose and wife, Christine, of Mokane; three grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Potts, Tiffany Rose Buckholz, and Zachary Rose; two great-grandchildren, Mariah and Paige Buckholz; and one sister, Phyllis A. (Rose) Salmons and husband, Vollie C. "Ted" Salmons of Fulton. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton with Reverend I.C.
