Evelyn Ella Zeugin

Evelyn Ella Zeugin, 93, of Jefferson City died Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Heisinger Bluffs. She was born April 6, 1919, in McKittrick, a daughter of Ervin William and Tena Marguerite (Autenrieth) Zeugin. Evelyn attended McKittrick Elementary School and was a 1936 graduate of Hermann High School. She worked for the Missouri Division of Employment Security from 1946 until her retirement in 1985. Evelyn was a member of the Tebbetts United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Mokane Chapter 352, Order of Eastern Star Victoria Chapter 14 in Jefferson City, Royal Neighbors of America in Washington, and the Princess Rebekah Lodge in Tebbetts. She is survived by: one brother, Donald Zeugin of Taos; two sisters, Vanita Boffa of Jefferson City and Iona Viessman of Holts Summit; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by: her longtime cherished companion, Joe Bartley; and dear friend, Carol Bartley. Friends will be received from 4 - 7 p.m., Tuesday at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at the Houser-Millard Funeral Home with Rev. Pati Tynes and Rev. Kay Hord officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
