Rachel A. Powers, 72, of Fulton, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born July 23, 1941, in Lebanon, Pa., the daughter of the late Walter Roy Kline and Miriam (Hassler) Kline. On January 8, 1966, she was united in marriage to Edward Glenn Powers Sr. who survives at home. Rachel was a long time member of the Reform Church of God Holiness, a wife and homemaker. In addition to her husband, Rachel will be sadly missed by two sons; Tim Powers and wife Wendy of Williamsburg, Ed Powers Jr. and wife Angie of Desoto, Mo; one daughter, Sandra Claus and husband Kevin of Fulton; three brothers; Paul (Bonnie) Kline of Ark., Mark (Brenda) Kline of Calif., and John (Pat) of the state of Colo.; two sisters, Mary Mitman and Eunice (Bob) Goodyear of Pa.; five grandchildren: Terry, Tonya, Brett, Josh and Jacob; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 17, 2013, at the Reform Church of God Holiness with Rev. Dennis West and Rev. Edward Powers Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Reform Holiness Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the church.
