Vera Fay Brockett Hayman, age 98, of New Bloomfield, Missouri, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Fulton Manor Care Center. She was born June 6, 1915, in Harviell, Mo., the daughter of the late Edgar Lawrence and Gertrude May Clark Brockett. On June 5, 1946, she married Jesse J. Hayman in Piggott, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on September 24, 1995. Vera was the oldest member of Hopewell Baptist Church, New Bloomfield, Missouri. Vera is survived by two daughters, Glenda Warbington Miller (Ken) of Paducah, Kentucky and Anna Hayman Morrow (Grover) of New Bloomfield, Missouri; three grandchildren, Denise Kay Dillard, Kevin Atwell (Jennifer) and Samantha Atwell Crisp (Brian); six great-grandchildren, Savannah Crisp Shaefer (Chris), Josh and Dalton Crisp, Nathan, Connor, and Brynn Atwell; two great-great- grandchildren, Shiloh and Brylan Shaefer; and 11 nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Benjamin Glenn Warbington; a twin sister, Veda Mae Stroud, and other siblings, Virginia Morrrow, Ruth Lynn, Esther Colman, and Joseph Brockett. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at Hopewell Baptist Church in New Bloomfield, Missouri with Brother Rick Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until time of service.
