Lelah Stiers

Lelah Aileen Stiers, 76, of Fulton, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 3, 2013, at home with her family. She was born February 15, 1937, in Columbia, Missouri, the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lelah (Scholfield) Gray. On April 21, 1962, she married Billy L. Stiers in Fulton, Missouri and they spent over 51 years together. Billy survives of the home. Aileen leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son, Bryan Stiers and friend Bobby Huss of Steedman; two daughters, Susan Nolting and husband Dan of Fulton, and Sheila Heichelbech and husband Tim of Peculiar, Missouri; four grandchildren: Matthew and Sara Heichelbech of Peculiar, and Benjamin and Michaela Nolting of Fulton; one great-grandchild, Layla Heichelbech; one sister, Dixie Wandersee and husband Ralph of Fulton and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by three sisters: Laura Elliott, Joyce Rice and Barbara Elder. Aileen's life celebration will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday August 6, 2013, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton, with Celebrant Linda Backes officiating. Burial will follow in the Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
