Martha Hoover

Martha Louise Hoover, 87, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Fulton Nursing and Rehab. She was born January 20, 1926, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Frank Lechner and the late Mamie Lechner. On September 12, 1943, Martha was united in marriage to Boyd Hoover, who preceded her in death on May 23, 1979. Martha enjoyed spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Martha will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, William Hoover and wife, Carol, of Kingdom City, Charles Hoover and wife, Rose, of Oceanside, Calif., and Roger Hoover of Studio City, Calif.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Lechner and Herman Lechner, both of Fulton; and one sister, Velma Wolfmeier of Fulton. In addition to her parents and her husband, Martha was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Muenks; and one brother, Gene Lechner. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service also on Sunday at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
