Jeanie Lou (Adams) Garriott, 60, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia with her family at her side. She was born September 26, 1951, in Fulton, the daughter of the late Forrest Marvin Adams and the late Pearl Ellen (Martin) Adams. On June 20, 1969, she was united in marriage to Charles R. Garriott, who survives at the home. Jeanie graduated from Fulton High School in 1969. Jeanie was very artistic; she enjoyed singing and music, scrapbooking, painting, and crafts. She also enjoyed flowers, gardening, and bird watching. Jeanie lived life to the fullest. In addition to her husband of 43 years, Jeanie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Marveena L. Acton and husband Jeff of Fulton; one son, Chuck R. Garriott of Fulton; and five sisters, Margaret Garriott and husband Vernon of Fulton, Sharon Haymart of Fulton, Rose Hoover of Fulton, JoAnn Pundmann an husband John of Fulton, and Nomi Litel of Auxvasse. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Crowson officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2012, also at Maupin Funeral Home. Entombment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
