Zachary "Alex" Alexander Knehans

Zachary "Alex" Alexander Knehans, 17, of Columbia passed away on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. He was born November 11, 1994, in Columbia, the son of William Baxter and Melissa (Knehans) Baxter, who survive his passing. Alex enjoyed skateboarding, biking, walking trails, and talking and texting all night long. He enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend Ashley and friends. In addition to his parents, Alex will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one brother, Kody Baxter of Fulton; two sisters, Brandy Knehans of Columbia and Ashley Baxter of Fulton; grandparents, Ron and Chris Schambach of Holts Summit; and great-grandmother, Fredia Whitehead of Holts Summit. Zachary was preceded in death by grandparents, Gene and Linda Boes, and grandfather, Russell Knehans. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Haldeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service also on Friday at Maupin Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Memory of Zachary "Alex" Knehans.
