Winifred "Winnie" Timbrook

Winifred "Winnie" Timbrook, 78, of Fulton. passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born June 22, 1934, in Audrain County, the daughter of the late Cephus Lamberson and the late Ruby (Hudson) Lamberson. On May 15, 1971 she was united in marriage to Robert Timbrook, who preceded her in death on October 27, 1997. Winnie was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 2657 Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Eastern Star. She loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. Winnie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Rob Field and wife Gail of Leawood, Kan., and Roger Field and wife Teresa of Fulton; one daughter, Becky Field of Fulton; one sister, Alma Jean Cox of Columbia; four grandchildren, Katie Oakes and husband Brandon, Kelly Field, Lauren Field, and Shannon Jesse; one step- grandchild, Natasha Nolan and husband Jeff; two great- grandchildren, Macy Oakes and Holden Oakes; and one step-great-grandchild, Summer Nolan. In addition to her parents and husband, Winnie was preceded in death by one daughter, Ronda Jesse; and 10 siblings. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., also at Maupin Funeral Home. Entombment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
