William E. "Chuck" Maddox

William E. "Chuck" Maddox, 57, of Fulton, passed away on Fri., October 12, 2012, at his home. He was born September 29, 1955, in Fulton, the son of the late Virgil E. Gifford and the late Myrtle Ann (Atkinson) Maddox. Chuck served in the U.S. Army and was a member of VFW Post 2657. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. Chuck will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one brother, Rocky Maddox and wife, Debbie, of Fulton; two sisters, Kay Burkemper and husband, Lou, of Wentzville, and Sherri Hayes and husband, Jeff, of Columbia; and four nephews; three nieces; six great-nephews, and three great- nieces. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October, 19, 2012, at McCredie Cemetery in Kingdom City with Reverend Mike Crowson officiating.
