Bonnie Jo Lawson, 70, of Fulton, peacefully fell asleep on Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Boone Hospital in Columbia. Bonnie was born on July 17, 1942, in Fulton, to Jimmy and Elise Lawson. She was raised by her beloved grandparents Ocie and Thomas Johnson; along with her first cousin/sisters, Patricia Sallee and Angela Thomas, and cousin/brother, Gregory Thomas whom have all preceded her in death. She worked at the Old Callaway Hospital and Presbyterian Manor until she retired. She enjoyed talking on the phone, rummage sales, shopping, traveling, planting flowers and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sister Jamie Lewis-Lawson of Chicago, Ill.; three children, Don Lawson, Terry Lawson and Donna Lawson; one great-aunt, Alma Lambert; and seven grandchildren, Donielle Lawson, Rachon Lawson, Damien Lawson, Tiara Lawson, Mario Lawson, Adrian Lawson, and Addie Lawson. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and devoted friends to cherish her memories. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., on Friday, October 5, 2012, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton. Services will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church in Fulton.
