Barbara Carol (Bradley) Griffith, 53, of New Bloomfield, entered into our Heavenly Father's arms on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center surrounded by friends and family. Barb was born February 10, 1959, in Mexico, Mo., the daughter of the late James R. Bradley and Carol (Pulis) Bradley. Barb was united in marriage to Dennis Wade Griffith, who survives her passing. Barb was saved at an early age and continued her walk in Faith with Christ throughout her life. She was a member of the Callaway Christian Church and also attended First Baptist Church in Fulton. Barb was a graduate of North Callaway High School. She worked many places in her lifetime, the last being for the State of Missouri in the Taxation Department. Barb touched many lives with her caring heart, honesty, and giving spirit. She set an example for all to follow with her forgiving spirit. Barb enjoyed crocheting, her cats, gardening, raising beautiful flowers, taking pictures, baking, decorating cakes and cookies, singing, push mowing the yard, visiting the Amish, and bargain hunting. She loved her girls and her grandchildren so very much. In addition to her husband and her mother, Barb will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three children, Angela Suzette Kemp and husband Todd of Auxvasse, Joy Nicole Shawley and husband David of Fulton, and Heather Elayne Barnes and husband Toby of Millersburg; one step-daughter, Ashley Griffith and husband Nathan Herring of St. Louis; one step-son, Caleb Griffith of St. Louis; six grandchildren, Courtney and Dane Kemp, Kelsey, Jacob, and Taylor Shawley, and Preston Barnes; three step-grandchildren, Xavier, Grady, and Minah Herring; two sisters, Connie Lawson and husband Kirk of Auxvasse, and Laura Nell Kennon and husband Ronnie of Fulton; one brother, Danny R. Bradley and wife Alice of Auxvasse; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and cousins. She will also be missed by her first husband and his wife, Rick and Judy Mock of Mexico. She loved them all and had many close friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2012, at Callaway Christian Church in Fulton with Pastor Mark Kummer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery. In trying to meet Barb's wishes of taking care of her family, memorial contributions may be made to Barb's grandchildren's scholarship fund.
