Carl E. Kellogg, 79, of Lebanon, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2012, in Springfield. Carl was born in Moberly, February 27, 1933 to Edward Benard Kellogg and Berneice Virginia Truby. He served in the United States Army, was an accountant for Danuser Machine Company in Fulton, an accountant for Fulton State Hospital, and was an Assistant Superintendent for Marshall Habilitation Center formerly Marshall State School and Hospital. Carl was also affiliated with the St. Francis Desales Catholic Church in Lebanon. He is preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Carroll Kellogg; and his infant sister. He is survived by: his wife, Mary of the home; one son, Kevin Kellogg of Marshall; three daughters, Karla Dautenhahn and her husband David of Overland Park, Kan., Pam Lewis and her husband Jim of Athens, Tenn., and Karen Vogel and her husband Rick of Naperville, Ill.; three stepsons, G.T. Carr and his wife Jill, Jim Carr and his wife Amy, and Steve Carr and his wife Angie all of Lebanon; one stepdaughter, Jenny Carr of Springfield; one Brother, Ronnie Kellogg and his wife Irene of Blue Springs; 14 grandchildren, Monica Wonac, Cynthia Pritchett, Sarah Simon, Jeremy Dautenhahn, Rachel Blair, Brandon Vogel, Britney Leet, Brenna Vogel, Allison, Haleigh, Harrison, Grant, Campbell and Maddie Carr; 10 great-grandchildren, Elliott Blair, Shay Simon, Desiree, Donivan, Devin and Annaleigh Pritchett, Bailey and Braden Womac, Chase and Gavin Blankenbaker; and other relatives and friends. A Celebration Catholic Funeral Mass was held at Shadel's Colonial Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, with Father David Miller Officiating. A graveside service was held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012, at Ridge Park Cememtery in Marshall, with Father Kevin Gormley Officiating. Military honors were provided by the United States Army. Rosary Service was held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday evening, visitation followed at Shadel's Colonial Chapel, 1001 North Lynn, Lebanon, Mo., 65536. Memorials may be sent to Saint Francis Desales Catholic Church or to Bennett Spring Fire Protection District.
