Jaunita Frey, 88 years, of Fulton, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. She was born in Bakersfield, on September 17, 1923. Her parents were James Albert (Bert) and Edyth (Miller) Farel. She married Kenneth C. Frey on November 12, 1943. He preceded her in death. Jaunita retired from Fulton State Hospital after many years of service. She was a long time member of the Church of Christ. She was happiest when around family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters, Gladys (Price) Harrison and Lyda (Lonnie) Vaughan; four grandsons, Robert Anderson, Gregory (Kristal) Anderson, Clayton (Shelly) Vaughan, and Travis Vaughan; seven great-grandchildren, all of Fulton; one brother, Albert Eugene Farel of St. Charles; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters, one brother, and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2011 at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Brent Nuton officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 4 until 6 p.m. on Sunday, April 1 at the funeral home.
