Tom A Herndon

Tom A. Herndon, of Fulton, passed away on March 24, 2012. He was born near Kingdom City, Missouri on June 17, 1925, the son of the late F. M. Herndon and Virginia (Dawson) Herndon. Tom is survived by his wife Virginia "Piggie" (Wallace) Herndon and a sister, Mary Annis Heatherington. Tom was a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force as a B-29 pilot. While attending Westminster College, he served as a flight instructor at the Elton Hensley Memorial Airport. Tom owned Lynn H. Maughs automotive dealership for many years. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton, Missouri, with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
