Norma Jane Cole

Norma Jane Cole, 64, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Landmark Hospital in Columbia. She was born April 1, 1948, in Montgomery County, the daughter of the late Frank Cole and the late Anna (Travis) Cole. Norma was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, fishing, bingo, and spending time with her family. Norma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one brother, Frank Doyle Cole of Davenport, Iowa; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Darrell Cole of Davenport, Iowa; two aunts, Barbara and Georgia Travis of Fulton; two nephews, Aaron Cole of Fulton and Frank Cole of Iowa; numerous cousins; and her best friend, Linda Cade of Fulton. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by two brothers, Darrell Cole and Doran Cole; and one sister, Laverne Kidd. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Richie Thomas officiating. Interment will be held at Mount Horeb Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home.
