Alma Fay Dungan, 55, of Portland, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born July 25, 1956, in St. Charles, the daughter of the late Oscar Lee Morgan and the late Lorene (Weathers) Morgan. On September 28, 1975, Fay was united in marriage to Dennis Dungan, who survives her passing. Fay was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time with her grandchildren and her family. In addition to her husband, Fay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Dennis Dungan Jr. and wife Wilma of Portland; one daughter, Melissa Stephens and boyfriend Joey Laswell of Fulton; two brothers, Lea Morgan and wife Gayle of Shelbyville, Tenn., and Ronnie Morgan and wife Kelly of Portland; one sister, Kay Jackson and husband Larry Bosley of Williamsburg; and two grandchildren, Desirey Dungan and Kenneth Lee Dungan. In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded in death by two brothers, Mike Morgan and Jerry Morgan; and one sister, Helen Burket. Funeral services will be 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Mike Haldeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Wednesday, also at Maupin Funeral Home.
