Leslie P. (Babe) Chism, 76, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia. He was born in Fulton, the son of the late Finis Chism and the late Gladys (Daro) Chism. On August 26, 1955, Les was united in marriage to Virginia (Reed) Chism, who survives his passing. Les owned Les Chism Service Co. He was a member of Good Sam's Club and the Model T Ford Club of America. Les was a member and served on the board of the Millersburg Fire Department and was a volunteer for Missouri state parks. In addition to his wife, Les will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Rhonda Chism of Paris, Texas, Brenda Macke of Fulton, and Sandy Harvel of Fulton; one grandson, Steven Harvel; and one granddaughter, Ariel Macke. In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by one brother, Glen Chism, and one grandson, Aron Macke. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Richland Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Mike Crowson officiating.
