Victor D Maki

Victor D. Maki, age 56, of Mokane, died Friday, January 6, 2012, of natural causes after a long illness with Diabetes. Victor was born August 28, 1955, to Viekko and Francis Maki of Ely, Minn., who preceded him in death. Victor served honorably in the United States Air Force for four years and was a communications technician for several communications companies over the years. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Kari; one grandson; and four sisters, Patsy Johnson of Tower, Minn., Ceil Nolley of Hideaway, Texas, Francis Stone of Yuma, Ariz., and Alice Anderson of Babbitt, Minn. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Victor was cremated by Heartland Crematorium of Columbia and is interred in Minnesota.
