Doris M Franklin

Doris M. Franklin, age 74, of Grovetown, Ga., entered into rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was the loving wife of 38 years to Ernest L. Franklin. Doris was a member of Grovetown United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Epsilon Master Chapter for over 22 years, where she held several offices. She was also very active with the Georgia Power Ambassadors (Retirees). Doris was a mother and friend to all who knew her. She always treated everyone as if they were part of her family. In addition to her husband, survivors include her children: Colette Sauvageot Cosma of Bowling Green, Ohio, Paul Sauvageot of N. Augusta, S.C., Craig Sauvageot and wife Mona of Bowling Green, Ohio, Brenda Ragan and husband Bruce, Pamela Lee Glascock, Patty Ann Franklin, all of Fulton, Mo.; one brother: Warren Davis and wife Debbie of Akron, Ohio; one sister: Jan Croft and husband Steve of Grovetown, Ga.; seven grandchildren: Dessa Cosma, Andre Sauvageot, Phillip Sauvageot, Evan Sauvageot, Melissa Dutcher and husband Rustin, Brandon Glascock, Sophia April Glascock; three great- grandchildren: Shelbie Rae Whitmir-Sauvageot, Ragan Michel Dutcher, Finley Anne Dutcher; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, 2012, at Grovetown United Methodist Church, Grovetown, Ga., with Rev. Joshua Carr officiating.
