Kimberly Sue Mahanes Crutcher

Kimberly Sue Mahanes Crutcher, 53, of Liberty, Mo., passed away January 2, 2012, at Liberty Hospital. Kim was born February 11, 1958, in Fulton, Mo., the daughter of Paul Washington Mahanes, Jr. and Betty Catherine (Kelsey) Mahanes. She grew up in Fulton, where she graduated from high school, and attended William Woods College. She was a Registrar for Concorde Career Institute until her health no longer allowed her to work. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Sarah Crutcher, SSG Travis and Jesse Crutcher; brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Jama Mahanes; sister and brother-in-law, Lori and Paul Crooks; sister-in-law, Cindy Mahanes; grandchildren, Malachi and Xavier Dietz, Levi, Riley and Maiti Crutcher; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, Kim was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Mahanes. A memorial celebration will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at Ashton Court, 1200 W. College, Liberty, Mo. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
