Lee Roy Miller, 79, of Fulton, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2012, at his home. He was born August 2, 1932, in Perry, the son of the late Bernard Raymond Holtkamp and Lula Bell Shaver. He was united in marriage to Virginia May (Buchholz) Miller, who preceded him in death. Lee Roy was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. He enjoyed making cabinets, metal fabricating and working with metal. He was a great carpenter and loved working on cars. Lee Roy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Roy Lee Miller and wife, Katherine, of Fulton, Stanley Dean Miller of Fulton, and Thomas Mark Miller of Fulton; two daughters, Theresa Ann Juengel and husband, Jon, of Macks Creek, and Kathryn Lynn Miller-Autenreith of Fulton; 12 grandchildren, Lacy Miller Rice, Lindsay Miller, Shelby Miller, Jennifer Bergthold, Lori Massey, William Bergthold, Joey Bergthold, Douglas Bergthold, Tony Bergthold, Dillon Nelson, Amber Miller, and Sheena Miller; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and four sisters, Daphne Underwood of Fulton, Edie Stroheker of Paris, Mary Holtkamp of Mexico, and Judy Morts of Fulton. In addition to his parents and his wife, Lee Roy was preceded in death by four brothers, James Russell Miller, Gene Holtkamp, Charlie Holtkamp, and Joe Holtkamp; and four sisters, Edna Mae Winingear, Norma Jean Payne, Elizabeth Ann Miller, and Patty Winterbower Johnson. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home with Reverend Mike Crowson officiating. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 23, 2012, and at 12:00 p.m. until time of service on February 24, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home.
