Dorothy L Schlatt

Dorothy L. Schlatt, 83, of Mexico, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Audrain Medical Center. Dorothy was born on March 17, 1928, in Portland, the daughter of Adolph and Inez (Hayes) Brashear. On October 15, 1955, she married Raphael G. Schlatt in Fulton. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debbie Conley and husband Bernie of Palmyra; a son, Danny Schlatt of Mexico; four grandchildren, Cristin Wiggins and Aaron of Rolla, Trevor Schlatt, Amber Schlatt, and Alexandria Schlatt all of Mexico; a great-grandson, Landon; and a sister, Georgia Thomas of Fulton. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and two brothers. Services were held Saturday at Arnold Funeral Home with Fr. John Schmitz officiating. Burial was in St. Brendan Cemetery.
