Helen Orchard

Helen Orchard, 90, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012, at Fulton Manor Care Center. She was born March 11, 1921, to Samuel Clinton and Rosie Isabelle (Sanders) Sparks. She was united in marriage to Keith Orchard on May 25, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1987. Helen was an Admissions Clerk at Fulton State Hospital. She was active in the bowling leagues in Fulton. She was a member of First Christian Church in Fulton. She is survived by one sister, Margaret Jones and husband Dorris of Fulton; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Sparks of Fulton; brother-in-law, Vernon Clatterbuck; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Orchard; parents; one brother, Samuel T. "Bud" Sparks; two sisters, Jewell Clatterbuck and Lorane Boyce; and brother-in-law, Paul Boyce. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2012, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Steve Nelson officiating. Interment will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
