Bonnie Schneider Murphy

Bonnie Schneider Murphy, 83, of Fulton, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born in Jefferson City on February 2, 1929, to the late John Schneider and Mamie (Smallwood) Schneider. On April 23, 1948, she married William Dale Murphy, who preceded her in death. A lifelong resident of the central Missouri area, Bonnie graduated from New Bloomfield High School. She retired on April 1, 1991 as Probate Clerk of Callaway County, a job she proudly held for over 30 years. She was fun-loving and kind to everyone, and will be remembered for her committed public service. She enjoyed fishing, her dogs, crossword puzzles, crocheting, watching Carl Edwards, and spending time with her family. Bonnie will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Dennis Murphy and wife, Tricia, of Harrisburg; one daughter, Debbie Murphy of Spring, Texas; one sister, Beatrice Roberts of Springfield; three grandchildren, Mariah, Sarah, and Savannah; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on February 9, 2012, at Callaway Memorial Gardens in Fulton, Mo., with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating.
