Genevieve Estep-Blum

Genevieve Estep-Blum, 83, of Eldon, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2012. She was born in Liberal, Kansas, on August 13, 1928. She married Chester Estep on December 28, 1947, who preceded her in death after 54 years of marriage on July 2, 2002. She is survived by her second husband, Charles Blum of Eldon; one son, Chester Kenneth and wife Beverly of Meridian, Mississippi; three daughters, Rosellen Faye Fosha and husband Michael of Rapid City, South Dakota; Neena Lord and husband Alan of Fulton, Missouri; and Renea Avery and husband John of Norwood, Missouri; 10 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren; one sister Joyce Leach of Lake Placid, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Faye Reese; one brother, Howard Reese; two sisters, Dorothy Bowden and Clara Beth Stafford; and two great-grandsons. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Eldon, Missouri where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 8, at 11:00 a.m. Graveside service will be held at Bado Cemetery, near Cabool, Missouri, on Thursday, February 9, at 2:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Faith Maternity Care, P.O.
