Bob R. Glasford, 80, of Fulton, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2012, at his home. He was born September 29, 1932 in Millersburg, the son of the late Ray Glasford and the late Catherine Wright (Selby) Glasford. Bob was united in marriage to Jane (Gibbs) Glasford, who survives his passing at the home. Bob served in the U.S. Army and was SP4-E4 from 1956. He was a member of the Eagles Club #2693 in Jefferson City and was very active in Unity Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, Bob will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Rhonda Metz and husband, Bill, of Fulton, and Michele Brooks and husband, Bob, of Calwood; one daughter in law, Rebecca Glasford; two sisters, Faye Houchins and husband, John, of Fulton, and Barbara Spradlin and husband, Jerry, of Mexico; eight grandchildren, Jeremy Hinnah, Shawn Brooks, Andrew Gohring, and Ashley Metz, Justin Brooks, Alex Gohring, Adele Glasford, and Ariana Glasford; and one great-grandchild, Maddison Hinnah. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one son, Edward Glasford; and one granddaughter, Monica Dawn Glasford. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 30, 2012, also at Maupin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., on Monday, December 31, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Reverend Ron Baker and Reverend James Preston officiating. Interment will be held at Callaway Memorial Gardens.
