Dennis Lee Bird

Dennis Lee Bird, 67, of Fulton, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at his home. He was born October 14, 1945, in Mexico, Mo., the son of the late Richard and Lucille (O'Rourke) Bird. Dennis was united in marriage to Linda Coleman on April 8, 1972 in Mexico. She preceded him in death on November 16, 1984. He was united in marriage to Linda Sue Joe on March 2, 2002 in Auxvasse. She survives at their home. Along with his wife, Dennis is survived by four sons, Dennis Bird Jr. and his wife Jodie of Fulton, LeRoy Bird of Fulton, Chuck M. Peters of Fulton, and Loy Peters of Mexico; daughter, Mary Peters of Texas; and brother, Richard Bird. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Linda; his brother, Ronnie Bird; and half-sister, Dorothy LaBoube. It was Dennis's wish to be cremated.
