Dorothy Marie "Tuggy" Kleindienst, 81, of Fulton, formerly of Mexico, passed away, Thursday, December 6, 2012, at Fulton Presbyterian Manor. Dorothy was born on Feb. 26, 1931, in Portland. Her birth parents were Monroe and Mabel (Haven) Atterberry and the parents who raised her were Walter and Victoria (Benskin) Atterberry. All preceded her in death. On February 23, 1952, in Fulton, she married Elmer G. "Daubber" Kleindienst. He passed away Oct. 27, 2005. Mrs. Kleindienst was a homemaker and a member of Love Street Christian Church. She and her husband had great pleasure in delivering gifts from church and themselves to the Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch a couple times a year. Survivors include: her four children, Mary "Tinker" Maddox (Harrison Blackburn) of Rhineland, Starlet (Gerard) Ritter of Auxvasse, Gary (Jane) Pilger of Mexico and Tammie (Larry) Denio of Monroe City; eight grandchildren, Darrell Wood, Mark Wood, Misty Duchesne, Matt Pilger, Michelle Garriott, Autumn Angel, Travis Ritter and Erin Ritter; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters and a brother who was raised with her, Aaron Houston Atterberry. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Arnold Funeral Home. Visitation is Sunday from 3 - 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Benskin-Atterberry Cemetery in Portland.
