Jay David Burt

Jay David Burt, 27, of Fulton, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at his home. He was born January 31, 1985, in Farmington. Jay was the son of Greg Peterson and Angela (Ross) Peterson. Jay earned a degree in computer technology. He enjoyed tinkering with computers and was very analytical. Jay enjoyed volunteering at the John C. Harris Community Center and cleaning up around the Fulton Public Library. In addition to his parents, Jay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by five siblings, Kalesha Hees and husband Randy of Centertown, Corey Peterson of Fulton, Taylor Peterson of Fulton, Lindsey Peterson of Fulton, and Kaylee Peterson of Fulton; grandparents, David and Dorothy Ross of Belgrade, and H.V. and Shelia Peterson of Centreville, Ala.; two uncles, Jeffrey Ross of Enon and Charles Ross and wife Linda of Fenton; and one nephew, Karson Peterson of Fulton. Jay was preceded in death by one grandmother, Janice Peterson. Memorial services will be 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Richie Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Saturday also at Maupin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the John C.
