Kenneth Morse
Kenneth O. Morse, 71, of Tebbetts, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012, at University Hospital in Columbia. He was born August 22, 1941, in Morehouse, Mo., the son of the late Orlin and Mary (Farris) Morse. On October 27, 1977, he was united in marriage to Ethel (Drummond) Weil Morse, who survives his passing. Kenneth owned Ken's Archery in Fulton and was retired from the Callaway County Sheriff's Department. Kenneth loved to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Morehouse. In addition to his wife, Kenneth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four sons, Kenny Lee Morse and friend Melissa Strange of Mexico, David A. Morse and friend Sarah Oshima of Honolulu, Hawaii, Kevin Morse and wife Gretchen of Cape Girardeau, and Robert Watkins of Sikeston; two step-sons, T.J. Weil of Tebbetts and Arthur Weil of Jefferson City; and several grandchildren and great- grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by two daughters, Karla Fay Kay and Angie Watkins; one brother, Richard Morse; and one sister, Orlinda Morse. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 27, 2012, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton with Mark Sutton and Reverend Rick Conley officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 26, 2012, also at Maupin Funeral Home.
