Dulcy Arlene Marshall Keesler

Dulcy Arlene Marshall Keesler, 70, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born on March 15, 1942, in St. Louis, to William Henry Marshall and Mary Jane (Reed) Marshall. She grew up in Illinios where she graduated from Mount Vernon, Ill. Township High School in 1960. She later attended Emmanuel Missionary College in Berrien Springs, Mich. She worked for the State of Missouri for over thirty years. Many of those years she spent with the Department of Corrections. She also worked part-time in security for the Dollar General warehouse in Fulton. She loved her family. She always enjoyed the times they spent together. She also loved to play bingo and the "scratchers." She liked to read, play scrabble and care for her dogs and horses. She was preceded in death by: her father, William Marshall; and a daughter, Tabatha Marshall- Benke. She is survived by: her mother, Mary Jane Marshall of Arnold; three sisters, Diane (Lee) Hart of Atlanta, Denise (Mike) Minor, Dix, Ill., and Danell Rakes of Hallsville; one brother, Jack (Judi) Marshall of O'Fallon; one grandson, Devin Benke of Jefferson City; two great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Delanie; and a host of relatives and friends.
