Marcia Elizabeth Klippel

Marcia Elizabeth Klippel, age 88, resident of Shephersfield Community, Fulton, Missouri, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, as a result of a stroke. Mrs. Klippel, born in New York on February 10, 1923, graduated from Jamaica High School, and in 1947 married Kenneth P. Klippel who had served in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific during World War II. Her husband preceded her in death in January of 2007. They would have been married for 60 years that June. Mrs. Klippel is survived by their five children, Frances Hahn of Fulton, Nancy Norton of New York, Kenneth C. Klippel of Missouri, Janice Ethier and Glenn P. Klippel of Florida; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and countless nieces and nephews. A most kind and generous lady, she is remembered with much love as a wonderfully caring mother, grandmother, and friend. She is dearly missed, and with great gratitude we thank the Lord Jesus for the witness that she has been in our lives because of her love for Him. Arrangements have been made at Debo Funeral Home, 833 Court Street, Fulton, Missouri, where you may pay your respects Friday, September 30, 2011, from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at Shepherdsfield Community on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. Condolences can be sent by visiting www.debofuneralhome.com.
