Shelia Adams, 62, of Fulton, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born June 13, 1949, in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of the late Wilbert "Webb" Phillips and Twila (Boston) Oberg. Ms. Adams enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and church friends. She liked to sew, travel and go to yard sales. Shelia was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church, WMU and was an organ donor. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three daughters, Christina Verdugo and husband Chris of Fulton, Robin Patrick and husband Steve of Fulton, and Cindy Benningfield and husband Micah of Mokane; one son, Michael Dudley of Mexico; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Marty, Kristian Verdugo, Elaina Verdugo, Jessica Dudley, Chloe Dudley, Logan Dudley, Hannah Benningfield, Heidi Benningfield, Eli Benningfield; and one great- grandson, Isaiah Barks. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, with Reverend W.D. Lockhart officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Interment will be held at the Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton.
