Naomi Imogene "Jean" Ross, 71, of Kingdom City, Missouri passed away Monday, September 12, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born August 23, 1940, in Amarillo, Texas, the daughter of the late Stephen Pulley and Lucille (Very) Pulley. Jean was a waitress at Gaspers Truck Plaza for 32 years. Jean was a member of Richland Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling with her boyfriend, Fred Ketterer, to the Amish Country and other destinations. Jean also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons, Danny Ray Ross of San Luis Obisbo, California, Wayne Allan Ross and wife, Teresa, of Danville, Kentucky, and Kevin Charles Ross of Fulton; two brothers, David Pulley and Paul Pulley and wife, Karen, both of Amarillo, Texas; one sister, Ruth Dunagan also of Amarillo, Texas; and one grandchild, Rebecca Lynn Ross. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home with Larry Paris officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Richland Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the local branch of Missouri Cancer Associates in Columbia, c/o Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Blvd, Fulton, Missouri 65251.
