Kenneth David Branson

Kenneth David Branson, 54, of Auxvasse, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. Kenneth was born June 3, 1957, in Mexico, Missouri, the son of Everett Branson and Wanda (Heather) Branson. In addition to his parents, Kenneth will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Josh Branson and wife, Lillie, of Mexico; one daughter, Amy Lekey and husband, Scott, of Dixon; one brother, Roy L. Branson and wife, Sue, of Columbia; one sister, Sue Spurlock and husband, Jon, of Davenport, Iowa; and four grandchildren, James and Caroline Branson, and Tyler J. and Ryan Lekey. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bill D. Branson. Kenneth worked at Pick-A-Dilly Quick Stop in Kingdom City. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, listening to his scanner, and playing video games. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home with Mike Haldeman officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on September 15, in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery.
