Lada Mae Brock

Lada Mae (London) Brock, 73, of Mokane, passed away Friday, October 28, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born November 4, 1937, in Silva, the daughter of the late Lemuel Eugene and Opal (Barker) London. Lada Mae was retired from South Callaway School District where she worked in the custodial department. She enjoyed being outdoors, flowers and gardening. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Sam (Brenda) Street of Fulton, and James (Charla) Street of Fulton; one daughter, Alice (Tom) McFarlane of Mokane; seven grandchildren, Michele, Matthew, Cayty, Cole, Chantelle, Jaymes and Courtney; three great- grandchildren, Elise, Ian and Abella; two brothers, Orville (Shirley) London and Jerry (Carrie) London; and one sister, Helen (Bud) Henderson. Her parents and one brother, Earl London, preceded her in death. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1 2011, at New Prospect Cemetery in Silva, with Reverend Jerry London officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton.
