Debra Ann Workman King

Debra Ann Workman King, 49, of Riceville, Tenn., passed away Friday, October 21, 2011, at Duke University hospital in Durham, N.C., while undergoing a heart-lung transplant surgery. She was born a "blue baby" and had survived four open heart surgeries. She was born October 28, 1961 in Fulton. to Donald Workman, now of Cleveland, Tenn., and Gwendolyn Ann Polmateer Workman, now of Etowah Tenn. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her parents; her husband, George Stanley King, of Riceville, Tenn.; a daughter, Kristi An Buckner; and a son, Clayton Taylor; three grandchildren, Austin Buckner, Andrea Buckner, and Johnathan Taylor; a sister, Dee Dee Howard; brother, Gregory Workman, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; three aunts, Barbara Tafani of Virginia, Linda Hickman of Williamsburg, Beverly Hayes of Fulton; two uncles, Mitchell Polmateer of Rolla, and Lyle Polmateer of Kingdom City. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Esther Polmateer, George Polmateer, and Gertrude Languell Cook. Services were held Monday, October 24, 2011, in Cleveland, Tenn.
