Nancy J. Depping, 69, of Fulton, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2011, at University Hospital in Columbia, Mo. She was born in St. Charles, Missouri on June 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Andrew Steiert and Bernice (Wiechens) Steiert. On April 28, 1962, she was united in marriage to Dale Depping who survives her passing. Nancy was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. She volunteered in various capacities for Meals on Wheels for over 30 years and was a member of the women's bowling association for over 40 years. She truly dedicated her time to numerous people and organizations in the community. She loved and supported her grandchildren and was their number one fan. Nancy was considered to be a second mother to many friends and family members. In addition to her husband, Nancy will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Denise Kromschroeder and husband, Donnie, of Fulton, Mo.; one son, Dennis Depping and wife, Charla, of Fulton, Mo; four grandchildren, Dustin Kromschroeder, Matthew Kromschroeder, Dayton Depping, and Dacrie Depping; one brother, Daniel Steiert and wife, Sue, of O'Fallon, Mo.; and three sisters, Betty Kolb of St. Charles, Mo., Patricia Barker of Rector, Ark., and Jodi Fritz of Maryland Heights, Mo. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fulton, Mo. with Father Frank Bussman officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Maupin Funeral Home with an additional visitation at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at St. Peter's Catholic Church.
